If you're a singer, rapper or vocalist looking to sell your vocals and make money, you're in the right place. But before you get started, let’s quickly run through what you need to know before you start selling on the platform.

You need to be at least 18 years old to sell on Vocal Deals. If that’s you, great—you’re good to go.

• You upload your vocals, hooks, acapellas, or cover recordings
• Music Producers and buyers purchase your content
• You get paid through the platform's payment system
• There is a 20% commission fee on every sale you make on Vocal Deals, and payments may take some time if there’s a dispute.
  
  

Important: If a buyer asks for a refund because of poor quality, a missing file, or an invalid license on any of your products, you won’t get paid for that sale. So make sure your files are clean and complete and also make sure the license you select for each vocal is valid for that vocal product.

For example: don't select an Exclusive License for a vocal that you intend to sell multiple times simply because Exclusives are generally sold at higher prices or don't select a Non-Exclusive License for a cover vocal - this creates the impression that the vocal, lyrics and melodies are all 100% your idea/intellectual property WHEN IT's REALLY NOT. You get the idea.

• You can only sell vocals you own or have the rights to. Don't steal anyone's work.
• If you’re selling cover vocals, they need to be correctly specified in the license and the original song has to be referenced via a YouTube or Spotify link.
• Buyers should get the rights they pay for, so be transparent about what they’re getting. For example if you want to be credited as a featured artist on their song or not. OR if you'd like to retain or give up your publishing on their song. At the end of the day, every product is an offer so it all depends on what you want to offer for each product.
  
  

• If you misrepresent your vocals in any way and get into legal trouble, that’s on you
• The site is provided as is, meaning we don’t guarantee sales or any specific results
  
  

Vocal Deals can update the rules at any time. If we do, we’ll post them on the site and update you, and by continuing to sell, you’re agreeing to the new terms.
